Ila C. Hulse 1933 ~ 2003
HEBER CITY - Ila C. Hulse passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2004, surrounded by her loving family, who were the pride and joy of her life, following a courageous battle with a long-term illness. She was born Dec 10, 1933 to V.B. (Bill) and Sylvia Jeanette Swain Cobbley in Daniels UT. She married Donald Lee Hulse March 6, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Ila was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who devoted her life to her family. She loved the outdoors, the mountains, camping, cooking and had a zest for life. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings and particularly liked serving in the Primary and working with the Cub Scouts. She enjoyed her career and spent many years operating Ila's Beauty Corral where she had the ability to make many life long friends.
She is survived by her best friend in life Lee, three sons Brad (Charlene), Michael (JoLyn), Scott (Penny) and five wonderful grandchildren, Travus, Jade, Chase, Corby and Tyler; and by two step-grandsons Ryan and Colby; her brother Glen (Margene) Cobbley, sister Lois Musick, and many loving nieces and nephew.
Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Her family will miss her advice, sense of humor and wisdom. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 29, 2004 - 12 noon in the Heber LDS 3rd Ward, 244 East 400 South, Heber. Friends may call on Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main Street, Heber City, and on Monday from 10:45 -11:45 a.m. at the LDS Church. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery. .
