Ruby has had many accomplishment s in this life, but has always felt that her highest achievement was raising her five children. She was a dedicated, loving mother. She and Roy made many sacrifices to make certain their children had a strong foundation that encouraged personal growth, development, education, love of God and service. She has been a strong influence for good, kindness, and an amazing example of strength and love to all that have associated with her, especially her family.
She has been a n active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life and has served in many positions. Some of her favorite opportunities were writing music, lyrics, and stories for church road shows and Relief Society programs. Ruby had a special gift for writing music, lyrics, and poetry but was reserved about sharing her talent. She was a scrapbooker before it was popular and wrote about her daily life and the happenings of her family in diaries that have proven to be invaluable records.
She and Roy enjoyed traveling the world and instilled that love of travel in each of their children and grandchildren. She has been a wonderful example of charity, endurance, optimism and having great faith and trust in a loving Father in Heaven. We will miss you mom!
