Per her death certificate found on FamilySearch.org: she was a daughter of Rolland M. Forrest and Jane Moss Forest, both born in N. C. She was married at the time of her death but her spouse is not named. She died at 2320 Devine St. of uterine cancer. The informant was Mrs. O. G. Donny of Columbia, S. C.

Found in The State 14 August 1927: Mrs. Elizabeth Forrest Nash, 74, wife of R. C. Nash of the R. L. Bryan company, died at 11 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. G. Donny, at 2320 Divine street after a protracted illness. Mrs. Nash, who was before her marriage Miss Elizabeth Caroline Forrest, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rowland Forrest of Albemarle, N. C., was born near Albemarle January 18, 1853. She and her husband had been residing in Columbia for the last 35 years and for some time lived with Mrs. Donny on Divine street. She was a sincere member of Main Street Methodist church, also a member of both the Adult Bible class and the Woman's Missionary society of that church. Mrs. Nash was also a member of the Girls of the '60s. Beloved by all who knew her and endowed with many charming traits of character, her death has caused much sorrow wherever she was known. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Donny, Mrs. R. E. L. Freeman and Mrs. J. Edward Gaston, all of Columbia, and Mrs. Asbury H. Veal of Charlotte, also by a son, Walter F. Nash of Columbia; also by ten grandchildren, Mrs. O'Hear Fraser of Walterboro, Miss Lavinia Veal and Miss Mary Veal of Charlotte, Miss Bessie Freeman and Miss Margaret Freeman, Miss Louise Donny, Robert Freeman, Otto Donny, Jr., and William Donny, all of Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Main Street Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. J. F. Lupo. Interment will follow in Elmwood cemetery.
