Earl was born on February 13, 1940, in Labette, Kansas, the son of the late Edgar and Hulda Belle (Norrick) Francisco. Following graduation from high school Earl went to work as a printer for the Wichita Eagle in Wichita, Ks. He was co-owner of Godfather's Pizza in Olathe, Ks., and he also worked as a building maintenance supervisor for Sears and K-Mart stores in Joplin, Springfield, and Fayetteville, Ark., retiring in 2007. He was a member of the Iron Gates Christian Church in Joplin. He served as secretary/treasurer of the Local Printer's Union. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Wichita, Ks., and the Shrine Club of Wichita, Ks. He was an avid fisherman.
He married Lealani Cushman on October 17, 1987 in Olathe, Ks., and she survives. Additional survivors include, four sons, Ross Francisco, Ft. Worth, Tx., Nick Montee, Sarcoxie, Mo., Mike Bishop, Chicago, Il., and Scott Bishop, Wichita,Ks.; three daughters, Linda Francisco, Cheryl Wilks, and Diana Herberger, all of Wichita, Ks.; two brothers, Edgar Francisco, Jr., Parsons, Ks., and William Francisco, Grapevine, Tx.; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruan Swanson and three brothers, Charles Robert Francisco, Harold Lee Fracisco, and Roy Jean Francisco.
It was Earl's wish to be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held 1 – 5:00 pm. on Saturday August 13, 2011 at his home, 2428 Birch Rd., Sarcoxie, Mo.
