Maud Davis, 80, Arco, died September 16, 1984, at Lost River Hospital in Arco from heart failure.
Sje was born August 13, 1904 at Teton City to John and Mary Donaldson Butt. She attended school at Moody Creek and Teton City.
She married Cecil E. Davis in St. Anthony March 22, 1922. They lived in Ashton, Tetonia, and Blackfoot before moving to Arco in 1945.
She was an active member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bud E. Othello, Washington, and Donald, Coeur D'Alene; five daughters, Renee Croy, Post Falls, Carma VanCleve, Othello, Washington, Norma Minor, Hayden Lake, Carol Lee McCurdy, Arco, and Joyce Haney, Richland, Washington; two brothers, Alma "Tink" Butt, Teton City, and Jess Butts, St. Anthony; three sisters, Lavina Crawley, Teton City, and Violet Graham and Ella Potter, both of Rexburg; 30 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Arco LDS East Ward Chapel. Burial will be in Teton City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
