Florence M. Altizer
Services for Florence M. Altizer, 86, of 808 North Curtis, who died Thursday in a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alsip Chapel, Nampa, by Gordon Teel, minister of the Eldorado Church of Christ, Boise. Interment will follow in the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
She was born Aug, 2, 1890, at Caldwell, where she was reared and attended school. Her family homesteaded in the Marble Front area between Boise and Caldwell. She married Kyle Altizer in 1912 in Caldwell. They ranched for several years near Murphy and later ranched In the Treasure Valley, Mr. Altizer died in May, 1955. She then moved to Nampa, and had lived in Boise for the past seven years. She was a member of the Eldorado Church of Christ and the Native Daughters of Idaho.
Surviving are three sons, Vernon, Las Vegas, Robert, Eagle, and Sidney (Jack), Los Altos, Calif.; a brother, Ben Taylor, Hammett; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Fund.
