John Kays Dies At Willisburg - Special to The Courler-Journal Springfield, Ky., May 12 - John N. Kays, 73, died Friday midnight at his home at Willisburg after a lengthy illness. He was a member of the general mercantile firm of Jenkins & Kays at Willisburg for 18 years. Before that he had operated a water-power flour mill at Tatham Springs, now the site of Bingham 4-H Camp.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ofie Carey Kays; two sons, Robert Kays, Willisburg, and Charles Kays, Louisville; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Steele, LaGrange, and two sisters, Mrs. D.P. Cheatham, Springfield, and Mrs. Bruner Carney, Bloomfield.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Willisburg , Christian Church. Burial will be in Willisburg Cemetery, The body is at Carey & Son Funeral Home here.
