"Mrs. Edna Smith Banner, daughter of Isaiah Smith, of Pleasant Lake, and sister of Mrs. Frank Darby, of this place, died at Havre, Montana, Dec. 25. Her father took her to Montana last fall with hopes of befitting her health which had been bad for over two years. The body which is kept in a vault will be brought to Pleasant Lake, for burial in the Spring."

"The remains of Mrs. Edna Smith Banner, accompanied by her father, Mr. Isaiah Smith, arrived at Angola Thursday, June 23d, in care of Henry Weicht, and were brought to Pleasant Lake cemetery for interment Sunday, Rev. Dame officiating at a short service at the cemetery."
