He was born, reared and spent his entire life in Hagerstown. He was the son of the late Edward Peter and Amelia Margaret Knode Humrichouse.
He was employed at Eyerly's Department Store in the houseware department for over 25 years, retiring in 1958. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Christ.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Beulah Weagley Humrichouse; daughter, Mrs. Doris H. Porterfield, wife of the Rev. Joseph Porterfield, Martinsburg, W. Va.; one grandson; a sister, Miss Anna Humrichouse; nieces and nephews.
Services Saturday at 2 pm at A. K. Coffman Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur L. Grove officiating; burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
