She was the daughter of Richard Hanson Harrison and Dorothy Hanson of Charles county, Maryland. She first married John Courts (or Coats) Jones and, secondly married John Storer.

Storer. On Friday morning, 22d instant, Dorothy H., widow of John Storer in the 81st year of her age. Her funeral will take place from the residence of her son-in-law, J.K. Hanson, Esq., this afternoon at 4 o'clock when her friends and those of the family are invited to attend.

Will of Dorothy Hanson (Harrison) Jones Storer, of City of Washington, D.C. (dated Aug. 13, 1851, probatated Aug. 26, 1851; Book 6, pp. 476-477; O.S. 3197; Box 21)

Item: To be decently interred in the Congressional Burying Grounds according to the rights and ceremonies of the Protestant Episcopal Church.

Item: To grandson John Jovies Hanson, 666 acres of land which I became possessed of by my husband's land warrant for his services in the Revolutionary War; also my gold spectacles.
Item: To great granddaughter, Maria Hanson Kennard, my pew No. 67, in St. John's Church in City of Washington; silver consisting of table, dessert and teaspoons.

Item: To granddaughter, Harriet Macomb Kennard, all other property consisting of household furniture, wearing apparel, etc.
