Daughter of Lemuel Morris and Martha Estes. Susan's grandfather was Burris Estes, Sr.

In 1850 her family was living in Fulton Co, Ark. (Most of Martha's Estes family had moved to Ark. in the mid-1840's.)
In 1861 the Morris family moved to Walla Walla Co, Wash. (again following Estes relatives. Lemuel probably died in Ark before they moved.)

Several in her family later moved to California. Her sister, Sarah Buckley is also buried in this cemetery. Her mother, Martha Estes Morris also died in Santa Ana, CA and may be buried in this cemetery.
