Services for Eston Willard Glover Sr., 90, Morningside of Hopkinsville, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Greg Giltner and the Rev. Dr. Joe Bufford officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
He died at noon Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
A native of Christian County, he was born May 9, 1923, the son of the late Ernie Gooch and Ofa Lela Hail Glover.
He was retired as an auto mechanic and in state equipment service for Kentucky. He was also the owner and operator of the Little Shop on Main. He was a life member of the Western Kentucky State Fair Board and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a life member of the Hopkinsville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1913.
His wife, Golden Louise Armstrong Glover, died in 2005.
Survivors include two sons, Eston W. (Jo) Glover Jr., Elkton, and Thomas P. (Paula) Glover, Providence; two daughters, Janice Louise Glover, Madisonville, and Mrs. Barry (Donna Glover) Cornelius, Hopkinsville; a brother, the Rev. Billy (Brenda) Glover, Madisonville; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at Hillcrest Baptist Church or to the donor's charity of choice.
