MRS. JANE BASSETT DIES AT HOME HERE
Wife of Robert Bassett Passes To Reward at 11 O'Clock this Morning

Mrs. Jane Bassett, the wife of Robert Bassett, died at the family home, 917 West Adams street, at 11 O'Clock this morning, after a long illness of cancer of the stomach.
Mrs. Bassett was sixty-seven years of age and was a resident of Alexandria for many years. She was well known and highly respected by the residents of the westside. Mrs. Bassett was a devoted member of the Church of God.
She is survived by the husband. four sons, Grant Cory, of Kokomo; Ernest Bassett, of Kokomo; Frank Bassett and Roscoe Bassett, of this city and two brothers, Joseph Bird of Hagerstown, and Wesley Bird of Moreland, Indiana. One sister Mrs. Hanna Parker resides in New Waverly, Indiana.
The funeral service will be held at the Church of God, West John and West Streets, Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. Rev Fleanor, the pastor officiating. Internment in Park View Cemetery.
