Additional information was taken from U.S. Census enumerations for 1900 and 1910 (with spouse in Spokane, Spokane, Washington;) and Washington, Death Records, 1883-1960 (giving parents' names as James Matthews and Elizabeth Reed.)
Another contributor has suggested that Harry L. Flood was the child of Jennie Flood and Charles Flood. No sources were provided, and I could not confirm the accuracy of the suggested relationship. The 1900 and 1910 U.S. Census enumerations state that Jennie had given birth to two children, neither of whom was still living.
