Obituary: Abilene Reporter. Lee Applin. Services for Lee Cicero Applin, 80, of Bangs, will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Bangs with Rev. J.B. Chick officiating. Burial will be in Bangs Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral home. Mr. Applin died Monday morning in Brownwood Community Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Milam Aug. 21, 1889, and had been a Brown County resident 13 years. He married Winnie Harris July 12, 1933 in Portales. Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Mrs. Jimmy Rudioff and Jane Applin of Bangs, Mrs. Al Enrico of Arizona, Mrs. George Bradley of Clifton, Ariz., Mrs. Verna Kennedy of Loveland, Colo., and Mrs. Anna Ledwell of Corsicana; two brothers, Dan Applin of Cross Plans and Jessie Applin of Cameron; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Brown and Mrs. Josie Sippel of Cameron and Mrs. Julia Almond of Melrose, N.M,; 15 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
