GRIDLEY PASSES AWAY
William Ahrendt, well known young man of Gridley, died yesterday morning at 2:20 at Brokaw Hospital, the immediate cause of death being a tumor on the brain. Mr Ahrendt was born on a farm near Lexington 25 years ago last August. McLean County has always been his home. For many hears he has lived in Gridley, engaged in draying and like occupations. Three years ago he was married to Miss Mae Klug of Gridley. She survives with three small children. There are also his mother, thirteen brothers and sisters surviving, most of whom live in the vicinity of Heyworth. The deceased was a member of the Christian church and the Modern Woodsman of America. He will be missed by his community as he was well known and respected by many persons.
