MR. ARCHIE SMITH JR., the beloved son of Mrs. Bertha Smith and Mr. Archie Smith Sr. (Both Deceased) was born on July 17, 1915 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Archie attended the Baltimore City Public Schools System. After completing High School, Archie enlisted in the United State Navy for a numerous of years. Upon completing his service for his Country, Archie was employed as an Roofer until his retirement. Archie was reared in a Christian home and Archie accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age.
Archie later met and married the late Ruth Boykin Smith. Together they shared twenty-seven years of marriage until death separated them.
Archie was a loving and kind person, helped anyone that needed help. Archie loved music, dancing and talking with family and his friends. Archie enjoyed family gatherings and to eat home made meals with his family and friends.
Archie made numerous of friends wherever he went and Archie will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Four brothers and two sisters preceded Archie in death.
NOTE: All Siblings died before they were twenty years old and Mr. Archie was the youngest of them all.
