Mervin Lehto, known to friends and family as "Nib", passed away in Goldendale on February 16, 2013 at the age of 83. He was born in Battle Ground, Washington to Hulda (Rappako) and Victor Lehto on November 10, 1929.

On January 2, 1950 Nib married Betty Meyer. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Although retired, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.

Mr. Lehto is survived by his wife Betty Lehto of Goldendale; daughters Patti Eliason and her husband Harold of Goldendale and Gail Boggs and her husband Richard of Gresham, Oregon; sisters Dorothy Kay of Otis, Oregon and Neva Wheelhouse of Goldendale; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and thirteen siblings.

We all look forward to the promise of Christ's return and the resurrection, when we will all be together again.
