Born September 5, 1924 in Midland, she was the daughter of the late Milan and Helen Vuckovich.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Van Fossan; brothers, Pete, Mike Jr. 'Cotton', and Nick Vuckovich; sisters, Mildred 'Zecky' Langone and Mary 'Mutzie' Stepanovich, and nephew, Nicky Jr.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Sally Ann Brooks of Austintown, Ohio; and sisters, Dorothy 'Cucie' Bulat of Patterson Heights, and Helen and Rose Vuckovich of Midland. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many devoted friends and neighbors.
Ann was a member of the Circle of the Serbian Sisters of Midland, and a longtime employee of Galiotta's Market and Martinetti's Clover Farm Grocery Store.
A very, very special thank you is bestowed upon Ann's ex son-in-law, Richard W. Kossakowski, who was much more than a trusted friend.
The family also wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff of the Austin Woods Nursing Home, and also the many dedicated family members and friends.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the SCHWERHA-NOLL FUNERAL HOME, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A funeral service will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland, by the Very Reverend Stavrophor Father Milan Krstic.
