Big Brook, Oct. 23. — Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Hannah Eychner Lewis, wife of Alonzo Lewis, which occurred October 18, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Moore, where she had gone on a visit.
She suffered a shock about two years ago, from which she never fully
recovered. She was aged 80 years and was one of a large family of children, the youngest daughter of the late Benjamin and Rachel Eychner.
She was born in this town and lived here all her life, with the exception of a short time in the town of Steuben.
She is survived by her aged husband, three daughters and one son,
Hiram Alonzo Lewis of Steuben; Margaret, wife of George Moore of Fairfield, Herkimer county; Etta, wife of Nathan Stone of Dakota, and Ella, wife of Harry Dickinson of Michigan, and one brother, Edward Eychner of Jewel City, Kansas.
