She taught Sunday school, and served as treasurer for 8 years at the Clearlake Baptist Church. During World War II, she worked in the Richmond shipyards. A Desha County, Arkansas farm girl in her youth, she knew how to raise animals, birds, make a rock garden, pour a cement walk, help build a house, grow anything, and brighten many lives with her presence. Her spirit shines in our hearts. Memorial services will be held in the summer. Hospice or church gifts if desired.
