Mr. Charlie Caison age 79 of Supply died Friday October 11, 2013.

Mr. Caison was born in Brunswick County on April 11, 1934 and was the son of the late Troy and Annie Pearl Hewett Caison. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and Wilbur Caison and three sisters, Addie Varnam, Mazel Benton, Lillian Fulford. He was a Baptist. Mr. Caison worked for 17 years in the dredging industry with Norfolk Dredging Company and Atkinson Dredging. Following his career in the dredging industry in 1967 he and his baby brother Henderson purchased a shrimp boat, the "Miss Caison" and later on Charlie purchased his part of the "Miss Caison" and he and Mr. Henderson had their own boats.

He is survived by his wife, Kitty Caison; three children, Sheila Pearl Caison and Robert "Bob" Dennis, Joey Caison and wife Candy, Jessica Poole all of Supply; two grandchildren, Angela Tharp of Ocean Isle, Joey Ward of Shallotte; two great grandchildren, Avery Tharp, Kyla Rose Ward; a brother, Henderson Caison of Supply; a sister, Julia Johnson of Supply; three foster children, Diana Taylor of La., Michelle Millis of Md., Kaitlyn Tolliver of Supply.

Funeral services will be held Monday October 15, 2013 at 1pm at Sharon United Methodist Church with Reverend Eddie Hill, Reverend Larry Milliken, Reverend Lonnie Varnam officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
