A retired employee of the York Naval Ordnance plant, he was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ.
Surviving is four sons, Lawrence M. Arnold, 1549 West Poplar terrace; Wilford A. Arnold, 1525 West King street; Paul E. Arnold, 1289 West Poplar street; and James E. Arnold, 1473 West Poplar street, a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Boyd, 1475 West Poplar street, a sister, Mrs. Almena Arnold, 127 North Seward street, 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
His pastor, Rev. Archie C. Rohrbaugh, will officiate at funeral services Sunday at 2 p.m. at Robert F. Koller Funeral home, 2000 West Market street.
Burial will be in St. Jacob's cemetery, York New Salem.
