Paul J. Rawlings, 79, of East Office Street, died Wednesday, January 30, 2002 at Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born February 27, 1922, he was the son of the late Ezekiel J. and Callie Metts Rawlings.
He was a retired service manager for Mercer Motors and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church where he was active in the Saints Alive Choir.
Survivors include: his wife, Elizabeth Ann Roberts Rawlings, Harrodsburg; two sons, Billy Lewis (Garnetta) Rawlings and Johnny Lynn (Patty) Rawlings, Mercer County; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Lee Rawlings.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will begin after 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
