Mrs. Winnifred White Burke, wife of P.P. Burke, died at the family home in the west part of the city Saturday morning after a short illness. Mrs Burke was about sixty eight years of age and had resided in this vacinity for six years.

Deceased left surviving her husband, two sons, Harry and Lindsey of Prue and five daughters, Mrs. G.M. Vann and Fred Williamson, of this city and three who reside in Texas.

Fred Williamson and Harry Burke left for Liberty Hill, Tex, Sunday morning last with the body where services will be held and the body laid to rest in the family burial plat.

D. S. Smith of San Angelo arrived here last Sunday to attend the funeral of his sister, Mrs. P. P. Burke."
