Minnie was born on a town in Greenville township, in Outagamie County, Wisconsin March 3, 1863 to Frederick "Fred" Meltz and Mary Cobbin, both from Germany. She married Charles "Karl" Schultz February 2, 1881. They had 9 children. In the winter of 1905, Minnie contracted Tuberculosis. She died from TB in August 18, 1906. She is buried at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton, WI.
