LOWRY, ALONZO PAUL (NICK) - Age 68 years of Lemont Furnace, died Friday, Morning, February 2, 1973 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born in Lemont Furnace on March 6, 1904 and was the son of the late William B. and Emma Jane Cole Lowry. Surviving are his wife, Edna May Lowry; a son Robert Dwaine Lowry, Willowick, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Elora) Gidrich, Aberdeen, Washington; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Rollo Harpster, Hazel Park, Michigan; two brothers, William Bryan Lowry and Charles T. Lowry, both of Lemont Furnace. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, a son, and several brothers and sisters. Friends will be received in the Burhans Funeral Home, Dunbar, today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday Noon to 9 p.m. and Monday until 2 p.m., the hour of service, Rev. Harry Cooley and Mrs. Harry Crawford will officiate. Interment in Percy Cemetery.
