LOWRY, WILLIAM BRYAN - Age 79 years of Cove Run, RD 1, Lemont Furnace, Pa. died Thursday, April 29, 1976 in the Morgan Manor Nursing Home, Morgantown, W.Va. He was born January 10, 1897, the son of the late William H and Emma Jane Cole Lowry. He was a member of the Men's Bible Class of the Cove Run Free Methodist Church. He was in North Union politics for 46 years. He was Justice of the Peace for the last twenty years, a veteran of World War I and Barracks No., 279, and a member of Squires and Constables Association of Fayette County. He retired in January 1974. He was a member of the North Union Township Vol. Fire Dept. and North Union Township Veteran of Foreign Wars, Post No., 8543. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Wilson Lowry; two sons, Robert T Lowry of Lincoln Park, Mich., Charles Raymond Lowry of Taylor, Mich.; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Charles T Lowry of Cove Run, Lemont Furnace, Pa.; one sister, Minerva Harpster of Hazel Park, Mich.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Burhans Funeral Home, Dunbar today 2 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 2 to 9 p.m. in the Cove Run Free Methodist Church from 1 to 2 p.m. the hour of service with Rev. Harry E Cooley and Rev. Charles Little officiating. Interment in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
