Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Hawig, 85, of Town of Wayne, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bridget Catholic Church, Town of Wayne. She died Wednesday, July 20, 1983, at Samaritan Home, West Bend.

The Rev. Raymond Adamsky will officiate, and burial will be in New Holy Trinity Cemetery, Kewaskum. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Miller's Funeral Home, Kewaskum.

She was born Sept. 15, 1897, in the Town of Wayne, to the late John and Magdalina Kudek Amerling. On Oct. 17, 1922, she was married to Arnold Hawig at St. Kilian.

Mrs. Hawig was a member of St. Bridget Church, Town of Wayne and Ladies Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving are a son, Arnold Jr. of Town of Wayne and Sylvester of Chilton; three grandchildren; two brother, Edwin Amerling of rural Allenton and Arnold Amerling of rural Kewaskum; and a sister, Mrs. Priscilla Kosloski of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 21, 1978, and by a son and two sisters.
