Kodiak and Anchorage resident MYRLE ''SUE'' LAGASSE, 63, died of cancer May 8, 2001, at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage. Visitation was held Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Fort Richardson National Cemetery. Mrs. Lagasse was born June 28, 1937, in Outlook, Wash., and moved to Alaska in 1951. She held a bachelor's degree in psychology, and most recently she had worked as a relocation manager at Fort Richardson. Arts appreciation was a special interest of Mrs. Lagasse's. Her family said, ''She achieved victories in life but lost the battle against cancer.'' Mrs. Lagasse is survived by her husband, Philip Lagasse of Anchorage; daughters, Mickie Bunnage of Kodiak, Shelley Riley of Virginia, Teresa Goff of Arizona, and Vivianne Ledoux of Kodiak, Suzanne Fisher of Soldotna; sons, Philip Lagasse Jr. of Eagle River and John Lagasse of Kodiak; sons-in-law Kenny Fisher, Mike Riley and Jeff Ledoux; daughters-in-law, Nancy Lagasse and Kara Lagasse; granddaughters, Kyle Wood, Susan, Birianna, Amanda and Kari Ledoux, Desiree Tomlin, Samantha Lagasse, Morgan Gibb; grandsons, Bobby Bunnage, Scott Riley, Micheal Tomlin, Tarl Lagasse; great-granddaughter, Pricilla Suralta; great-grandson, Gabriel Reiss; brothers, Gilbert, James ''Sandy'' and Glenn Munro.
