THE PARIS NEWS Mon., Sep. 14, 1992 p.2A. - Wallace Weston Woodall, 77, 2485 Cypress, died at St. Joseph's Hospital Sat., Sep. 12, 1992. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tue., Sep. 15, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Strother.

Mr. Woodall was born in Paris May 21, 1925, a son of Thomas and Lurella Tedder Woodall. He attended Pattonville schools and graduated from its high school. He married Mary Elizabeth Upchurch Jul. 25, 1936. They lived in Shady Grove until 1946 when they moved to Blossom. He worked at Lamar Creamery until 1946 and was a farmer until 1959 in Blossom. He owned and operated Woodall's Truck Stop from 1961-1971. He moved to Paris in 1971 and owned and operated 271 Truck Stop until 1979. He donated 7 acres of land for Woodall Field to the Breakfast Optimist Club of Paris for its little league baseball program. At the time of his death, he was employed by Montgomery Exxon.

Surviving are his wife; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Cary Woodall and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Woodall; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Cliff Martin, Mrs. Loula Richards and Mrs. Lela Jackson.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Arthur and Henry Woodall; 2 sisters, Edna Chesney and Virgie Ayres
