Clarence L. Stone, of 409 North Hill Street, South Bend, and 839 Diversey Parkway, Chicago, died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday in the home of a brother-in-law, Valentine A. Singler, here. He had been ill three months. He was born in Chicago Dec 27, 1900, and came here last January from Pittsburgh, Pa. he married in 1927 in Chicago to Cybella Lebold, who survives. He was a salesman for Armour & Co. He leaves his mother, Mrs. Bertha Goetz of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Everett Stone, of Chicago, and Milton Stone of Los Angeles, and sister, Mildred Stone of Los Angeles. Friends may call at the L.W. McGann funeral home where the funeral will take place at 2:30p.m. Friday. Rev. Rhys Price Jones, D.D.of Westminster Presbyterian church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetary.
