MOTHER OF DR. J. W. MANON DIES AT HOME IN PROSPERITY
Mrs. Hannah Manon, 76 years old, mother of Dr. J.W. Manon of Charleroi, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.R. Wolfe near Propserity Thursday. Mrs. Manon had spent the greater portion of her life in that vicinity and for a period of years she had been a member of the Bethel Presbyterian church of Van Buren.
Eight children survive as follows: James H. and Clarence Manon, of South Franklin township, Mrs. E.R. Wolfe at whose home her death occurred; Mrs. Craig McCarroll of Morris township; Mrs. Cynthia Reeves of Pittsburgh; Dr. Joseph W. Manon of Charleroi; a daughter Etta, who resides at Monroe, N.C., and Charles Manon of Amity. She leaves 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Short funeral services will be held at the Wolfe home Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Further services will be held at the Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian church at 11 o'clock, in charge of the Rev. F.S. Brennenman. The interment will be in the Prosperity cemetery.
