Virginia Lucille "Bunny" Cooper, age 75, of Grassy Lick, Morehead, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.

Born January 1, 1938, on Grassy Lick Road in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert Carey Cooper and Bessie Lee Morehouse Cooper.

Bunny graduated from Morehead High School and was a former Morehead State University employee. She was a lifelong member of the Johnson First Church of God, a devout Christian, and an avid reader. She also enjoyed attending church and helping others.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lydia Marie Cooper, who passed away December 2, 2007.

Bunny is survived by one sister, Sudie Mae Cooper of Morehead, one brother, Harvey H. Cooper and his wife Loretta of Muncie, IN., two nephews, Larry Cooper of Charlotte, NC., and Jerry Cooper of Firestone, CO., one niece, Connie Mochal of Muncie, IN., five great- nephews, two great-nieces, and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial, with Pastor Ben Furman and Brother Mark Poston officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers: Otis Morehouse, Justin Morehouse, Tyler Brown, Gabe Brown, David Nutter, and Jerry Scruggs.
