Passed away on October 3, 2013 in Bessemer AL. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. "Doc" Bates. She is survived by her Daughters; Lynda Eiland (William), Bonny Bates and Frances Hudson (Jack).Her son; Arthur E. Bates, Jr. (Debbie) Grandchildren; Michelle Bates, Christen, Christel and Christopher Eiland, Keith, Douglas and Eric Hudson. Jeremy and Jarrod Bates. 10-Great Grandchildren and 3-Great, Great Grandchildren. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Special loving thanks to Judy and Ed Daniel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to ASPCA or Humane Society.
Funeral Service is on Monday, October 7 at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home, 2:00 P.M.. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Rev. Randal Ray officiating.
