BEDFORD - Harley Robertson, 70, of Bedford, died at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at his residence in Seymour after a battle with cancer.
Born April 25, 1943 in Lawrence County, IN., he was the son of Jason and Sarah(Duncan)Robertson.
He married Brenda Masters; and she preceded him in death on February 24, 2003.
He was a member of GlenLawn Apostolic Church in Seymour, attended Guide Pointe Apostolic Church in Bedford and worked at several sawmills and stone mills.
Surviving are his daughters, Tina Jo Robertson (Paul David Mills, Sr.) of Mitchell, Misty Jo Robertson of Mitchell, and Shelley Dee Byers (Luther Byers) of Bedford; companion, Cindy Crater and family of Seymour; five grandchildren; James Byers, Dedra Byers, Joyce Nicole Robertson, Eric Robertson, and Paul Mill Jr.; three great grand children, Gabe Edmonson, Carly Pridemore and baby to be, Adalynn Terrell; TWO SISTERS, Sherry Robertson and Herley Robertson Walls; TWO BROTHERS, Owen Lee Robertson and Ralph Robertson; four half brothers and four half sisters; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; grandson, Aden Taylo; great grandson, Sammie Edmonson; and a brother in law Gerald Walls.
Funeral service will be on Monday, Otober 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, With Pastor Jim Miller. Burial will be in Bryantsville Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
