Acres, Hoit, 86, husband of the late Mary Lou Acres, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care. Mr. Acres was a World War II veteran. He was a retired pressman for Fawcett Haynes Printing and owner of PDQ printing. He is also preceded in death by his son, Terry Acres. He is survived by daughter, Anna Cann; granddaughter, Shannon McDaniel (Cliff); and his loving great-grandchildren, Christian, Caden, and Caeley; sisters, Joyce Davis, Billie Trammell, and Shirley Jeffers and brother Hoyal (Joan). Funeral services will be 5 p.m. on Sunday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
