Mr. Ralph M. Austin, Jr., age 63, husband of Teresa Freeman Austin of 250 Old English Rd.
Union, SC went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 7, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Austin was born in Union, SC July 4, 1946, a son of the late Ralph Austin, Sr. and Mildred Petty Austin. Mr. Austin was previously employed with Petroleum World and was a Charter member of Morningside Baptist Church. He was a member of the Duncan Masonic Lodge # 256.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Teresa, are four sons: Monty Austin and wife Shannon, Scotty Austin and wife Leslie, Kenneth Austin and Chris Austin all of Union and Jason Hyatt reared in the home; a sister, Judy Yarbrough and husband Jimmy; a brother, Mike Austin and wife Lynn and a special friend, James Bright, all of Union; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Eddie Saxton and Rev. Randy Smith.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 8, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
