Mrs Rex (Mabel) Alderson, 79, of rural Blanchard, died this Thursday morning at the Shenandoah Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services are planned for 2 pm Saturday at the Hackett Funeral Home in Shenandoah with Rev Mark Young officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 pm this Friday at the funeral home.
She was a member of the Northboro United Methodist Church, where a memorial has been established.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Matilda Erickson Anderson, a brother Arthur and two sisters, Mrs Walter [Hilda] Nelson and Mrs John [Irene] Meyer.
