BELOIT — William V. Donovan, 74. was killed in a two-car collision Saturday (Dec. 9, 1972) on Highway 81 7 miles west of Beloit. Born in Vernon County, Mr. Donovan married Florence Nelson in Illinois in 1928. He was a retired Fairbanks Morse, Inc., employe and a World War I veteran.
Surviving in Madison are two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Hansford and Mrs. Nina Quitmeyer. Also surviving are his wife; another sister, Mrs. Garnet Stuckmeyer, Horicon; and a brother, Buford, Wisconsin Dells. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Chilson Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 8 tonight.
