First wife of William Wallace Damron. They may have married about 1859 and she died shortly after. They had no issue. She died of inflammation of the lungs, at the age of 15.

Helen Foster Snow's "Dameron Damron Genealogy" (Capt. John edition, 1954), Part 3, page 20? (page 18a typed then crossed out and a handwritten 20 above. Between pages 19-c and 21) has a story about her visiting her husband after her death.

In the Record of Deaths for Salt Lake City Cemetery, interment 1092, for "Damson", wife of Wm. W. Allphin (oops), born 3 Mar 1844, Adams County, Illinois, died 30 Dec 1859 from inflammation of the lungs. Plot D-12-4. (Note: An update has be submitted to Ancestry.com. To find her on the Utah State Cemeteries and Burials Database online, you type only the last name of "Damson" and she comes up. Damson is one of the misspellings of Damron).
