ADA IRENE BRENNEN BEHIMER

Ada Irene Brennen Behimer was born to James William Brennen (June 1854 to 18 May 1905, died in Wharton, County, Texas) and Ada Brennen (February 1858-___who was living with her son Harold and Thelma Brennen in the 1930 census in Kenton, Oklahoma.) Can't locate either James William or Ada in FAG.

Ada was one of twelve children of James and Ada Brennen.

Her husband Arthur Behimer married March 18, 1914.

Ada was an accomplished pianist and played for church and community activities, taught piano, was an excellent cook, seamstress, did oil painting and beautiful needlework, was a member of Eastern Star, Extension Club, 20th Century Club and Rebekahs. The family had moved to Barela, Colorado in 1951, after selling their ranch near Sloan Arroya, and after Arthur's death in 1958, moved to LaJunta, Colorado and later to Salus, Arkansas where she lived until her death. She is buried in the family plot at Kenton, Oklahoma.
