Hulda Puttkamer, age 99, New Glarus, formerly of Monticello died Wednesday, May
29, 2002 at the New Glarus Home. She was born Sept. 27, 1902 in Monticello, the daughterof Leonard and Sarah (Elmer) Blum.Following the death of her husband, Richard Amelong, Hulda married Milton C.Puttkamer on June 22, 1947 in Winona, MN. He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 1972.
Hulda worked as a waitress at the Monticello Casino Hotel and Restaurant for many years.She had been a resident of the New Glarus Home since 1944.Survivors include a sister, Marie Baebler; and a nephew, James Disch, both residentsof the New Glarus Home.She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Amelong, Jr.
