MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Leonard Blum, 72, Monticello, who died Wednesday night after a long illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. C. Puttkamer, 2619 Stevens st., Madison, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Voegeli funeral home, Monticello. The Rev. A. R. Achtemeier, pastor of the Zwingli Evangelical and Reformed church, will
officiate. Burial will be in Highland cemetery, Monticello.
Mr. Blum was born in Washington township. He was married in 1902 to Sarah Elmer in Monticello and lived in the village all his life except for a brief residence in Monroe from 1934 to 1936.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Puttkamer, and Mrs. Alvin Baebler, Monticello; four brothers, Jacob, Evansville; John, New Glarus; Edward, Paoli, and Peter, Monticello; and two grandsons.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
