James Lester Price, 53 of Leesville, died Sunday at the Baptist Hospital. Mr. Price was born in Saluda County, a son of Mrs. Minnie Price and the late Ira Price. He was a member of Union Lutheran Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lorene Shealy Price, his mother, Mrs. Minnie Price of Leesville; three sons, Legrand, J. L. and William Price of Leesville; two daughters, Ruth Anne Price of Leesville and Mrs. Joyce Jumper of Greenwood, one brother, Carl Price of Leesville; three sisters, Mrs. L. V. Lindler, Mrs. Voight Crout and Mrs. Sammy Summers of Leesville, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Union Lutheran Church by the Rev. J. L. Drafts with interment in Union Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Chevis Crout, Hoy Lindler, Clovis Summers, Don Shealy, Leon Shealy and Berley Fulmer. © The State, Columbia, SC, 20 Feb 1962
