13 Sep 2001: Arthur J. Ditzler, 91, of Hearthstone Manor, Lebanon, died of natural causes Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001, in Lebanon's Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Ada M. Kercher Ditzler. Born April 28, 1910, in Union Township, he was a son of the late Jacob and Gertrude Long Ditzler. He retired in 1975 from the Hershey Hotel, where he had worked as a painter and paper hanger. Before that, he was a self-employed painting contractor. He was a member of Kochenderfer's United Methodist Church and Jonestown Area Senior Citizens. Surviving are sisters Noreen Cobb and Ruth Lutz, both of Lebanon, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Walter and Paul Ditzler and sister Ethel Kohr. Funeral Saturday at Kochenderfer's United Methodist Church, Lebanon. Interment in the church cemetery.
