Greenwood, February 11, 1945 - J. Kibler Holsonback, 28 died at the Greenwood hospital this afternoon after a short illness. He was a son of Mrs. Sallie Redd Holsonback and the late John William Holsonback. Mr. Holsonback was an employee of the Grenola Grocery of South Greenwood, having charge of the meat department. He was a loyal and faithful member of the South Main Street Baptist church. Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Frances Norris of Greenwood; his mother' two sons, J. K. Holsonback, Jr. and Jerry Holsonback, Greenwood; three brothers, Arthur Holsonback, Winnsboro, Roy Holsonback, Detroit, Manning Holsonback, overseas; three sisters, Mrs. C.W. Etters, Lancaster; Mrs. W.J. Rollins, Greenwood; Mrs. P.C. Owings,South Greenwood. The State, January 12, 1945.
