Estelle Owings Knight, 85, resident of 1415 Parkway, widow of James Knight, died September 22, 2013 at Magnolia Manor in Greenwood. Born December 11, 1927, in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Paul C. Owings Sr. and Willie Mae Holsonback Owings. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School, retired from Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, where she was a member of The Quarter Century Club. Mrs. Knight was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church and the Aliene Barnes Sunday School Class. Survivors include one son, Jamie Knight of Nebraska; two brothers, Clyde A. Owings of Greenwood and Earle and Sharon Owings of Belton; one sister-in-law, Jo Owings of Greenwood; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Paul Owings Jr., Carroll Owings and Jon Owings. A memorial at a later date. Blyth Funeral Home.
