Jerry Hargrove Freeman, 82, of Texhoma passed away Wed. at Coldwater Manor in Stratford, Texas. The son of Carl & Sara Elizabeth (Berry) Freeman, he graduated from Texhoma High School in 1943 and married Reba Lois Dotson on April 19, 1945 in Dalhkart, Texas.
He served as the mayor of Texhoma for 12 years, was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Texhoma Masonic Lodge #382.
Survivors include his wife of the home, one son, three daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-father, Walter Moore; one son, James Allan Freeman; three brothers, Bill Freeman, George Glen Freeman, Sr., and Ray Freeman; and one sisiter, Faye (Freeman) Richmond.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday Sept. 18, 2005 at Texhoma United Methodist Church with interment in the Texhoma Cemetery.
