Former Redstone Citizen is Dead

Redstone Review: George Washington Minor, aged 65 years, died at Los Angeles, Calif., March 28, 1921, where he had been for some time seeking the return of his health. He was engaged in farming here until about two years ago when he disposed of his ranch on account of poor health.

Mr. Minor was born in Audobon county, Iowa, on the 20th of February 1856, and came to Montana some ten years ago and settled on a homestead which adjoins the townsite of Redstone.

Mr. Minor was married to Margaret Bickelhaupt in the year 1884. She preceded him in death at Redstone in 1912. To this union were born eight children, two boys, Arthur and Floyd, and six girls, Elva, Lena, Hazel, Martha, Iola, and Mina.

The remains arrived here Tuesday morning and funeral services were held at the M.E. church Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in Valley View cemetery at Redstone.

The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends in this hour of sorrow and bereavement.
